The building is a 14 bedroomed, purpose built property offering many of the facilities similar to a good class hotel. It is situated near Motherwell Town Centre with a wide variety of leisure, recreational and educational facilities nearby.
The accommodation is in single en-suite bedrooms with a capacity to accommodate very complex needs. It is barrier free and all parts of the the building are capable of bring accessed by wheelchair users.
Facilities include a small Gymnasium, a Snoozelen room, a small Hydrotherapy pool and a Resources room addition to the normal Dining Room and Kitchen, there are 2 sm all kitchens which can be used to supply supply snacks and light meals.
There are also 2 Residents sitting rooms.
A central feature is the Sensory Garden with Barbeque area, Water feature, Fish Pond, and Garden seating. There is a Bar for occasional use.
There may also, on occasion, be an opportunity for carers to stay overnight to assist the resident to settle in.
